INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2019
In celebration of International Women’s Day, and girls and women around the world, The Through Her Eyes Project, is excited to share our plans for 2019! We’re kicking off the first quarter of 2019 with the expansion of our programs - from our Sister Teams, to our Teaching and Training “Your Story” workshops, to our multimedia profiles, to our online and on the ground exhibits.
In late 2018, we had the opportunity to visit the magical country of Fiji and capture some of the voices and stories of the girls and women who are playing sport across the islands. We met the women who are changing the face of rugby, coaches who are introducing new sports to the islands, a coach who has brought a special mix of music and aerobics to the women of her village, and many other girls and women who are making their mark on the fields, tracks, gyms, courts, and waters of the country.
Stay tuned as we announce new collaborations, teaching events, and share new athlete profiles of some of the girls and women of Fiji.
