WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF SPORTS TO CHANGE LIVES AND EMPOWER EVERYONE.

WE BELIEVE THAT WHEN GIRLS AND WOMEN PLAY SPORTS THEY BECOME EMPOWERED TO BE LEADERS AND CHANGE AGENTS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.

WE TELL THE STORIES OF GIRLS AND WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD WHO PLAY SPORTS, WE TRAIN THEM TO TELL THEIR OWN STORIES, AND WE SUPPORT AND FUND THEIR PLAY.

Sports can and should be a vehicle to improve the lives of girls and women.

And we are working to make sure that happens.

When girls and women play sports, their social, physical, economic, and emotional well-being improve. And when that happens the communities they live in improve. Many times girls and women do not have the support, nor the space to play.  The reasons for this are vast and diverse in each country, but societal norms, financial constraints, limited resources, and a lack of role models and media coverage are some of the factors that limit the opportunities for many girls and women around the world.

But we can change this

At The Through Her Eyes Project, this is our goal. By telling the stories of girls and women who are playing and want to play sports, by getting more girls and women on the courts and fields, by teaching them how to tell their stories, and by supporting them with cross cultural social and financial/equipment assistance, we are working to empower, train, and assist.

We started this project in one country, and now we are taking it around the world.

WE ARE THE STORIES, IMAGES, AND VOICES OF GIRLS AND WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD.

WE ARE THE THROUGH HER EYES PROJECT.

WHEN I PLAY SPORTS, I FEEL ALIVE, I FEEL FREE, I FEEL LIKE I CAN DO AND BE ANYTHING THAT I WANT TO BE.
